The other day Julia had Nikolaus over in her Kindergarten. They were very careful with this topic becaus St. Nikolaus used to come with Krampus - not anymore - he´s tooooo scary.
So they told the kids that Nikolaus came to the Kindergarten and dropped off many little packets, but than he was too tired that he went to the gym (a room in the kindergarten were the kids are playing and doing some sport) to take a nap. So the kids went there and heared Nikolaus snoring. First they saw his big, black shoes, than his big belly and finally his white beard. Slowly he woke up and the kids could go to him and get their own little packet. They really tried not to scar any child and were very carefully.
So they all went up to this man to receive their little gift one by one - as our little Julia ment very bold through across the room: "ich nicht!" "not me!".
BUT to complete the story with a happy end: after seeing 40 kids getting their packet and nothing happened she went there with her kindergartener on her side and received hers too!
